With 40 years of experience as a nurse, I am the lead nurse at Castle Medical Group and support the nursing team in maintaining a high standard of health care provision to the Practice population. In my daily role, I provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care using advanced autonomous clinical skills and a broad and in-depth knowledge base. I am also able to prescribe medication in a safe and effective manner. I also specialise in cervical cytology and contraception.

Joyce Tetteh (f) – Practice Nurse

RSCN SEN Special interest: Respiratory

I have been a qualified nurse since 1978 and have worked at Castle Medical Group for the last 16 years. My specialist interests are paediatric nursing and my area of speciality in the GP Surgery is asthma and COPD. I also carry out general nursing duties such as dressings, pill checks and smears.

Dawn Boon (f) – Diabetes/ Practice Nurse

I have been a practice nurse since 2009 and joined the Castle Medical Group in 2017. I do cervical screening, contraception reviews, chronic disease reviews, travel consultations, immunisations, wound care, and phlebotomy. I have a special interest in diabetes, and I am the lead nurse in Diabetes, Immunisations, and Infection Control. I completed my non-medical prescribing in 2019 and am about to embark on the Minor Illness course.
I love the variety of my role and the continuous learning opportunities of being a practice nurse!

My name is Rokia I am one of the practice nurse for Castle medical group, I love working alongside other people, some of my responsibility as part of the practice nurse team, is administering b12 injection, taking bloods, cervical screening, wound care, making relevant referrals, immunisations and completing health checks. I enjoy talking to my patients and getting to know everyone.

Daniela Tabacaru (f) – Practice Nurse

Hi, my name is Daniela and I’ve been a nurse in the UK since 2015. I joined Castle Medical Group in March 2022. It is my first job as a Practice nurse, and I am in the process of developing my nursing skills hence I am currently doing a spirometry course. I love my job and I am grateful for the opportunity.

Kimberley Dovey (f)

I joined Castle Medical Group in 2006. I have been a Healthcare Assistant since 2007. I do phlebotomy, NHS health checks, ECG’s, wound care, diabetes reviews, immunisations which include B12, influenza and pneumococcal injections. I am in the process of completing a respiratory course. I enjoy my job role and the ongoing learning opportunities.

Community Nurses

Castle Medical Group Practices’ District Nursing Team can visit you at home if you are housebound and require treatment.

Health Visitors

Promote health in all age groups and give support to people in their homes, particularly mothers with young children.

Health Visitors advise on matters such as feeding, weaning, immunisations, and some of the developmental checks to review your child’s progress.  They can be contacted on 0333 4050087 or 0333 4050090
